The following are some comments and testimonials about Christopher Cornue based upon interactions, work deliverables and collaboration through multiple projects & roles over the past twenty years.
“Chris is an exceptional executive who exemplifies the very essence of what a wholesome executive and leader is and should be. He is a prolific thinker and strategist who is able to integrate historical, current and next generation thinking. As a strategist and explorer, he is able to define this space with clarity while masterfully navigating the ambiguity that naturally comes in this space. He was instrumental in navigating the successful strategic combination between Atrium and Navicent Health. He was committed and passionate about the integration of our healthy communities platform focused on access, affordability and equity. As a developer and operator, he competently juggles the challenges and opportunities of shepherding the organization towards optimization and high performance. As a futurist, he understands the need and has the ability to craftfully navigate the need to disrupt the current space to give way to innovation. He successfully led AtriumNavicent Health in its pursuit for innovation and future thinking through his capable tutelage of the Center for Disruption and Innovation (CfDI). What impresses me the most about Chris is his ability to balance high performance, learning and his manifestation of rock solid values. He is an awesome executive and leader, a bright and highly capable executive and above all a phenomenal person. There is not a day that I do not miss him and the beautiful gift of Chris who keeps giving. ”
“Chris is the definition of a healthcare innovator who understands the criticality of linking innovation to strategy, creating a culture to support it, linking it to the business cases that make it an imperative, and leveraging the kinds of partnerships that can de-risk and power it up! A consummate collaborator, strategist, Chris continues to add significant value to the AVIA network and our efforts to accelerate the transformation of care in our country.”
“I’ve worked with Chris in multiple capacities, and I’ve enjoyed collaborating with and learning from him in each. As a colleague, he led Sg2’s strategy consulting team and helped us solve member problems in new and innovative ways. He also contributed to our intelligence/research as an expert in strategy, innovation, facilitation, and leadership. I’ve also worked with him “on the other side” in the past few years, watching him grow and succeed as a transformative leader over strategy and innovation at Navicent. He’s engaging, innovative, knowledgeable, and a great teammate/partner/collaborator/customer.”
“Chris is a great person and colleague. He is a sincere, humble and extremely knowledgeable leader and collaborator. He has keen insight and his ability to analyze both the qualitative and quantitative data is top shelf. He can take chaos and out of it form a strategy and plan that is amazing. I have known and worked with him for over 8 years and I have never heard him say anything negative about anyone. He truly does see the good in everyone and figures out how to work with that good to the benefit of all. I am proud to have worked with him, to call him my friend and to have him be apart of my journey. He has made that journey better. I hope you are as lucky as I and choose Chris to be part of your experience. I highly recommend him.”
“I have had the delight of working with Chris through his role as an International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) Expert over the last number of years. He’s a driven champion for the need to change our approach to quality improvement worldwide. Chris is one of those dedicated few who not only sees the innovation required to change healthcare, but also delivers that change. His research on the future of healthcare, and in specific patient safety is second to none. I believe that it is through Chris’s work with organisations on data driven care models, and micro delivery structures for healthcare, that the future for better care lies.”

“Chris has both broad and deep expertise of the healthcare industry, which provided us with great support as our organisation began work on the first international comparators project. His partnership was incredibly helpful in ensuring we considered all aspects in a collaborative project, while also connecting us with key healthcare leaders in the United States. We enjoyed his passion for healthcare, his collegial interactions and forward thinking approach. We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Chris and appreciate his support.”
“As we looked to become further involved in the healthcare market, Chris was a perfect leader with whom to partner. His knowledge of the national and international healthcare industry created opportunities for us to create innovative and impactful solutions for healthcare organisations globally. He was professional, responsive, flexible and collaborative in his effort and I look forward to working with him again in the future. A true healthcare leader and partner!”
“Chris Cornue took a huge challenge when he came to work for Navicent Health and he accomplished much with his incredible skill at educating, motivating and quite honestly disrupting the Navicent Health Board. The background, I serve on the Board at Navicent and I am a native of Navicent’s home town, Macon, Georgia. Chris was responsible for educating a Board that only knew how the then Medical Center operated. There was no knowledge about the world of healthcare, where the industry of healthcare was heading and the tremendous challenges should the Board not make significant changes and bring Navicent into alignment with the healthcare industry. He accomplished all of this systematically through well organized Board Retreats, informational materials and speakers. He did this not only at the Board level; although we were the greatest challenge. He did this throughout the Navicent System. He set us on a course to be a leader in healthcare not only in Middle Georgia but much of South Georgia as well. He also did this with a humble attitude, wit and incredible intelligence. He is a delight to work with and an amazing person all around.”
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris for over 10 years in his capacity as an ISQua expert. Chris brings so many qualities to the team, strategic thinking, innovation, person centeredness and the ability to lead multiple diverse groups of people. Chris is a team player who always gets the most out of the people he works with.”
“Chris is amazing! He is a thoughtful, inspiring leader and brings out the best in all of his teammates! Always focused on the positive, Chris makes teamwork fun and successful while delivering a powerful message about how to be a great leader!”
“Christopher Cornue has been an inspiration to work with over the last four years, while we were both on the senior leadership team at Navicent Health. Chris a seasoned executive with a collaborative spirit, kind and caring, and his approach always seems to get positive results, because he gives his teammates just the right amount of direction and empowerment to engage them and get a successful outcome. Chris and I worked together on many projects, among the most notable, Navicent’s journey to become a health equitable organization, which culminated in winning the American Hospital Association Equity of Care award in 2018. Chris was integral to Navicent’s efforts in implementing the 123Equity Pledge and was a tremendous resource and leadership beacon throughout our journey. Chris was the Chief Strategy and Chief Innovation Officer at Navicent, and during his tenure introduced many new concepts, ideas and products that were implemented through the Center for Disruption and Innovation. Many of the tested innovations had significant effects at improving care and resolving healthcare outcomes disparities, contributing to the Health Equity program. Chris also provided extremely relevant leadership to Navicent as we embarked on various partnerships in middle Georgia and throughout the southeast, with the goals of creating clinically integrated networks, focused on increasing value to the purchasers of healthcare. He was an invaluable resource during the strategic combination that brought Atrium and Navicent together and guided us through the initial stages of integration in a masterful way. I am proud to call Chris friend and colleague, and I am sure he will be a tremendous asset to future organizations he affiliates with.”
“Chris Cornue is an exceptional leader and manager whose skills and self confidence enable him to engage superiors, colleagues, and subordinates in effective teams. Moreover, he is able to sustain the commitment of people to tackle complex projects and programs over the long periods of time needed to successfully execute them. I worked with Chris on a national cardiac quality project at Sinai funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The project’s success was largely a product of both his managerial and interpersonal skills. Chris’s willingness to sacrifice his time and leave his own ego at the door for the good of the team and institution is rare, and one of the reasons so many people who know him stay in contact with him. Chris is a very decent, skilled, compassionate and engaging leader. ”
