Christopher Cornue speaking about strategy and innovation in San Francisco (July 2019)
What if we can change healthcare for the better?
Everyone involved in the healthcare ecosystem has an obligation to work together and create the needed change for those who receive care and those who provide it. We can do better, but it is going to take different thinking, inclusive collaboration, ownership and action to do so. services are provided globally, by health care leaders, physicians, communities and caregivers.
Our work …
… is grounded in five tenants:
integrity in purpose; engagement at all levels; innovation in practice; excellence at performance & outcomes; and collaboration of efforts
Past work & engagements have included the following:
review of cost savings and revenue enhancement opportunities — worked with a national consulting organization to develop labor efficiency, revenue enhancement and cost savings strategies.
international best practices research project — partnered with Dr. Foster’s Intelligence, based in London, England, in their efforts to establish the world’s first global healthcare indicators research project, the Global Comparators Project. Through this multi-country initiative, the hope is to identify best practice achievement that can be shared with partnering hospitals in an effort to improve healthcare outcomes internationally. Hospitals in England, Holland, Italy, United States and others launched the project formally in 2010 and recent publications and research from this project demonstrate that benchmarking globally is key to improving our industry's performance and outcomes.
creating innovative solutions for healthcare — sgp partnered with a newly formed information & clinical technology company to develop innovative solutions to challenges faced by healthcare organizations.
physician compensation modeling — collaborated with a national healthcare consulting organization to work with a healthcare system on the west coast as they identify best practices for physician compensation modeling.
advising information technology — ongoing advisory services to a consulting firm based in Washington D.C. and their efforts to provide exceptional leadership to the information technology industry.
